In ancient times astrology was very common knowledge. It was not associated with superstition or blind faith. However, as time passed, the knowledge got adulterated and modified from its original true version. Religion became tightly coupled with astrology and colored the views of astrology students. This was the cause of the downfall of this knowledge and people lost trust in astrology and astrologers. However, nothing lasts forever. Sincere, serious and intellectual people soon started digging deeper into this divine science. Ancient sages have said that a student doesn't select the subject of astrology but instead astrology selects its own student. Research and data collection became much easier in the recent times of the information age. This caused the revival of this divine science.
